Svrakava Waterfall through Bastasi

The Svrakava joins the Vrbas right here in Karanovac. From the Karanovac bridge follow the Knezevo road for about 2 km, turn left towards the village of Bastasi, climb over the saddle and drop into the Svrakava valley. The canyon runs for about 500 m and ends with rapids and a 4-5 m waterfall pouring into a deep limestone pool. Sturdy shoes are a must - the final approach is over rock.

Walk along the banks, dip your feet where the warm water enters the Vrbas, and come back the same way - or continue to the city if you feel like a longer day.
